The England Legends v Wales Legends fixture sets the stage for the Rugby World Cup tie between England and Wales.

The match will take place on Thursday 24 September at the Twickenham Stoop, compounding the excitement and build-up to the Rugby World Cup fixture between England and Wales on Saturday 26 September at Twickenham Stadium. 

This fixture, like all Legends matches, will raise valuable funds for charities, nominated charities for this match are: Restart, The IPF, All Schools and the WRPA

England Legends, have to date, raised over £600,000 for nominated charities.

The squads for the England v Wales match in September are already taking shape with confirmed players as follows –

England Legends will be managed by Jason Leonard OBE and include

Mike Tindall MBE, Iain Balshaw MBE, Lewis Moody MBE, Andy Gomarsall MBE, Kevin Yates, James Forrester, Paul Volley, Paul Sampson, Dan Scarborough, Ollie Phillips, and Sam Vesty.

The Wales Legends will be managed by Jonathan Davies, captained by Colin Charvis and include

Chris Wyatt, Darren Morris, Peter Rogers and Dafydd James
