Monday 30th May 2016 - 48 amazing runners took on the Vitality London 10,000 2016 as part of the RFU Injured Players Foundation’s team of ‘Rugby Runners’.

Starting on the Mall, the runners then made their way through the closed streets of London before finishing in front of Buckingham Palace.

Together they raised just under £6,250 for the RFU Injured Players Foundation and were supported by a team of volunteers in the start and finish area as well as at the Injured Players Foundation’s cheer point along the route near St. Paul’s Cathedral.

The team of runners, made up of Youth Rugby Ambassadors, students, RFU Staff, Community Rugby Coaches, and other fundraisers all did the IPF proud, acting as great ambassadors for the IPF and the rugby family.

Everyone at the IPF would like to say a huge thank you to all of our runners and volunteers for supporting us on the day and for making the 2016 Vitality London 10,000 our best year yet.
