The 2026 World Wheelchair Rugby Championships are only a week away!

The tournament runs between 17th and 24th August, as the world’s best teams go head-to-head in Brazil in pursuit of the sport’s biggest prize.

We’ve caught up with two of our IPF Members, Jack Smith and Kieran Flynn, who will be competing for Great Britain during the tournament in Sao Paolo. Read the interview here

Tuesday 18 August

  • Denmark v Great Britain – 13:00 BST
  • Great Britain v Colombia – 21:30 BST

Wednesday 19 August

  • Germany v Great Britain – 13:30 BST
  • Great Britain v Japan – 21:00 BST

Thursday 20 August

  • France v Great Britain – 23:00 BST

Following the group stage, the top four teams from each pool will progress to the quarter finals on 21 August.

Semi-finals take place on 22 August before the World Championship medals are decided on Finals Day, Sunday 23 August.
